The private health sector is increasingly dominating service provision in Low-and-Middle income countries (LMICs). It has thus emerged as a critical stakeholder in achieving UHC and Health Security. The Country Connector aims to raise awareness about the role of the private health sector in the provision of equitable, quality and essential health services. It also seeks to develop guidance and considerations for the effective engagement of the private health sector in different programme areas.
