way of governing mixed health systems by building consensus around the means and strategies of engaging the private health sector in health care service delivery. This new strategy focuses on the governance of the whole health system - both private and public – to ensure that all people have access to quality health care without suffering financial hardship, irrespective of where they seek care.

Each of these studies also contributes valuable information to broader discussions about the role of the private sector in health care and the growing momentum to using cross-sector partnerships to achieve the health related SDGs.
